Gather your adopted cats, gas up the U-Haul, head over to your best friend’s house (who is also your ex), and stay in for the night while listening to this episode about Lesbian Stereotypes! We’re joined by the awesome Sarah Hallonquist, an organizer and activist for NYC Dyke Bar Takeover who is well versed in dyke spaces and the reality of what it means to be a dyke. What stereotypes still ring true? Which are the most harmful to the community? Which make us want to scream “mind your heterosexual business!” We also discuss how coronavirus is changing our lives (everything is cancelled), and how not to be an asshole during a pandemic. Plus, Melody roasts Carolyn for her possible hormone-induced weirdness. Finally, we end with a question about how to support a partner with kids during complicated situations. We’re so sad to miss seeing you Susans up in Alaska and out on the West Coast, but we’ll do our best to reschedule when things (hopefully) return to normal.
