We all want it, we all need it, but sometimes, we’re not quite sure how to find it. That’s why people like Kristen Kaza dedicate their lives to building community through events and creating “brave spaces” for LGBTQIA folks. Kristen is the party guru, event planner, and activist behind Reunion Chicago, Slo ‘Mo and more. She has worked on holding space and building events and gatherings where the LGBTQIA community can connect with, enjoy, and sometimes, challenge each other. We talk about how our communities are changing, and how COVID has shifted the way we connect. Plus, Melody implores our listeners to shed light on the Beaver festival, while Carolyn attempts to save her queer cred by binging gay movies. Finally, we answer a question from a baby gay with an adorable crush.
